A herd of sheep is being led to the slaughterhouse when a young lamb flees trying to save itself. Being on its own for the first time, the lamb finds that its hard-won freedom has its limitations. Existing alone is not in its blood. The herd is calling out and the lamb answers, though returning to the barn only leads to certain death.
